Western Mahoning County Fire Departments. Milton Twp (St 500), Jackson Twp (St 600), Ellsworth Twp (St 45), Craig Beach Village (St 800) Fire Departments. Digital P25 Feed.

This feed is designed to cover the West Mahoning County Fire Departments.  The departments have all transitioned to digital paging (Unication G4's) and operations are on the Austintown/Boardman Joint Digital Radio System. The Broadcast is currently using a "non-dedicated*" SRS-200 scanner with ProScan software.

The Departments in the feed:

  • Milton Township Fire Department (Station 500)
  • Jackson Township Fire Department (Station 600)
  • Ellsworth Township Fire Department (Station 45)
  • Craig Beach Fire Department (Station 800)

Digital Channels scanned:

  • West Mahoning Fire Digital Ch 1 (Operations)
  • West Mahoning Fire Digital Ch 2 (Toneout Only)
  • Mahoning County Fire Mutual Aid 1 (Primary Fireground, if a channel is needed)
  • Mahoning County Fire Mutual Aid 2

(Note: There may be up to a 2 minute broadcast delay from Live, based on testing. No delay is set in the software.)

[ Feed location is in a current "digital signal dead zone" area for the Austintown/Boardman Joint Digital Radio System, with spiratic signal loss due to topology and repeater location (outside antenna and amplifers are in use, digital is basically "line of site" with the signal).  There will be missing traffic and broken traffic at times on the feed.]

Note: Ohio MARCS Mahoning County Fire West (FD50DISP) will be linked by dispatchers if mutual aid from MARCS departments is utilized, such as Berlin Township Fire Department, who is on Ohio MARCS.

FYI: The old VHF Repeater (listed in Radio Reference) has been turned off and is no longer in use.

*Until a permanent solution is in place, the SRS-200 may have additional "banks" open to catch other specific area traffic when needed, but this will be at a minimum.
