The Agawam Fire Department runs two districts 24/7 staffing two engines (E1/E2), two ambulances ("rescues" 1/2), a truck company (T1), a medium-duty rescue (Squad-5) and cross-staffs a third ambulance (R3). It is supplemented by a call force headed by the AFD Training and Safety Officer. The call force staffs a second-line engine (E3) and the station when career members are occupied responding to other incidents.
