This feed is being supplied by a BCD996XT and is located in Tiverton, RI. CTCSS is enabled to prevent interference. Computer equipment that functions as the server to provide this feed consists of a Dell Optiplex 280 with 2 GB RAM with a dedicated battery backup for the scanner and computer. The antenna system is an Austin Ferret external antenna mounted on the side of the house facing Mt. Hope Bay. I may pause the scanner on a HOT EVENT in progress to monitor its status. I will be experimenting with different frequencies that are relevant for the Newport County Area. I have purchased a digital scanner to include those departments that have shifted to the RISCON system. It looks like more departments are shifting every week and soon everyone will be digital. Any questions, comments, or suggestions on frequencies to be monitored, please contact the feed owner.

Additionally I enjoy listening to Providence Fire...so you will hear it on here....
