Sioux Falls and Minnehaha County have encrypted law-enforcement talk-groups (channels) and they can no longer be monitored.  Fire and EMS have not encrypted, but might.  I'll leave the feed up as long as there's anything worth listening to.

This feed is for the South Dakota Digital system in Sioux Falls.  Most Sioux Falls and Minnehaha County public service talk groups are enabled, though many are now encrypted and therefore silent.  I've locked out transit, animal control, highway department, and city government talk groups.  The Broadcastify terms of service require that I lock out certain tactical and medical talk groups. My feed is on battery backup, so should ride out most power outages.  I suggest the Android app "Scanner Radio" or the iTunes version, "Scanner Radio Deluxe".

I appreciate reports of audio problems, but please try another feed to ensure that your audio and the Broadcastify site are working, since most issues are due to Broadcastify outages that impact many/all feeds, or are issues on the user's device. Audio issues may be on the transmit side, since police/fire/etc are often in noisy locations.  Occasional simulcast interference between towers can also occur.  I use a Uniden BCD996P2 digital scanner and a dedicated WIndows 10 PC connected to a battery backup that also powers my network.
