Traffic can be heard on the CPKC Colonie Subdivision in its entirety between Kenwood Yard in Albany and Mechanicville Yard. Traffic on the B&E consists of operations entering/departing Mechanicville and points east to Eagle Bridge. Amtrak operations heard primarilly are from their Rensselaer station including switching operations. CSX transmissions are possible from any of the surrounding subdivisions, and may vary.
