Smaller towns/areas covered include Bargara, Bauple, Biggenden, Boonooroo, Bucca, Burnett Heads, Burrum Heads, Childers, Elliot Heads, Fraser Island, Gin Gin, Howard, Lowmead, Maaroom, Moore Park Beach, Monto, Mount Perry, Mulgildie, Rainbow Beach, Rosedale, Tiaro, Tin Can Bay, Tuan, Woodgate, 1770.

PLEASE NOTE: Other areas outside of the Wide Bay & South Burnett area and other services might be heard during the initial testing of this feed. Analogue only, no digital or P25 transmissions will be heard.

Alpha tagging will be tested on this feed, along with close call capturing during reception. (Alpha tags will show the current channel scheme used in QPS, with further updates to the alpha tags in the future.)

Scanner channels will be updated periodically, during this time the data link between the scanner and computer will be used for updating the internal database. The feed may go off-line during these updates, or alpha tagging will be temporarily unavailable. 

UPDATE: Thank you for reports, hearing a slight hum on the transmission all channels, testing has shown the switch mode power supply is causing this issue, new power supply unit has been ordered. Also some out of area call signs are being heard, either out of area police in transit/pursuit into the area, or hearing new trunking links being saved by the close call system.
