Covers MSP Zone 3 dispatch for Troops H and D. Includes patrol activity in the South Shore, Cape Cod, and Southeastern Massachusetts.


This feed monitors Massachusetts State Police Zone 3, specifically analog dispatch and patrol communications for Troop H and Troop D. Zone 3 covers Greater Boston, the South Shore, South Coast, and Cape Cod. All traffic is received via analog simulcast or Motorola Type II analog trunked systems, as available.

  • H-1 (South Boston)

  • H-2 (Brighton)

  • H-3 (Foxborough)

  • H-4 (Medford)

  • H-5 (Brighton/District HQ)

  • H-6 (Milton HQ/Logan Airport)

Troop D (Southeastern MA):

  • D-1 (South Yarmouth – Cape Cod)

  • D-2 (Bourne – Cape Cod Canal)

  • D-3 (Foxborough – overlaps H-3)

  • D-4 (Middleborough)

  • D-5 (Dartmouth – New Bedford area)

 Technical Setup:

  • Scanner: Uniden BCD996P2 (Analog only)

  • Antenna: Wideband discone antenna (rooftop-mounted for optimal reception)

  • Frequencies Monitored:

    • Analog simulcasts of MSP Zone 3 traffic (including 860.x MHz range)

    • Motorola Type II analog trunked system talkgroups for Zone 3

    • Selected conventional analog MSP frequencies (where still active)

 Important Notes:

  • This feed does not include digital (P25) encrypted communications.

  • Only public, unencrypted channels are broadcast.

  • Availability of traffic depends on analog simulcast presence in your area.

  • Feed may include some district-wide or inter-agency communications if patched through analog systems.
