Scanning Southeastern Massachusetts State Police 

This feed monitors Southeastern Massachusetts State Police communications, focusing on Troop D and Troop H operations, statewide helicopter (Air Wing) and mobile units, Events and MassDOT operations. Coverage includes law enforcement activity, emergency response, and highway safety across key roadways in eastern and southeastern Massachusetts.

Troop H Coverage (Greater Boston & Metro South):

• H-PTL-1: Primary dispatch for Troop H covering major highways including I-93, I-95, Route 3, and the Southeast Expressway.

• H-PTL-2: Secondary dispatch for additional Troop H patrols, often covering Boston tunnels and Mass Pike areas.

• H-PTL-3: Tunnel Dispatch

Troop D Coverage (Southeastern Massachusetts):

• D-PTL-1: Dispatch for northern Troop D areas, covering I-195, Route 140, and New Bedford/Fall River regions.

• D-PTL-2: Dispatch for Southern Troop D areas including Bristol County 

• D-PTL-3: Covers Cape Cod access routes, including Route 6 and Route 3 south of Plymouth.

• D-PTL-4: Used for additional dispatch needs in the South Coast and Cape regions.

Statewide Operations:

• Mass Events: Event Channels 1-16 for local agencies & Mass State Police 

• MSP Air Wing: Covers state police helicopter units assisting with chases, search and rescue, and aerial surveillance.

• MSP Mobile Units: Includes specialized response teams handling major incidents, protests, and public safety events.

MassDOT Operations:

• Covers statewide highway operations, including traffic management, road closures, winter storm response, and construction projects impacting major roadways.
