Scanning Norfolk Southern frequencies for the AS-Line and former Southern Main Line through western North and South Carolina.



Live railroad radio feed from receiver hosted in Lynn Gap, NC at the Big Lynn Lodge. Feed will be scanning Norfolk Southern frequencies for traffic along its AS-Line through McDowell, Burke, and Catawba Counties, its Main Line through Cleveland, Cherokee, and Spartanburg Counties, and its W-Line in Spartanburg County.

Equipment for the feed includes a Narrowbanded Kenwood TK-7180 and a tuned Tram 1487 antenna mounted 20' off the ground at an elevation of 3103'.
