This is an experiment and it scans through a list of frequencies including Shannon and the RAF volmet. The downside is that if someone speaks, it doesnt automatically stop on that frequency.. it just keeps scanning. It changes frequency every 5 minutes. The frequencies are scanned in this order:
5450 (RAF Volmet), 5505 (Shannon Volmet), 4651 (Shanwick Aero).
Sometimes there may just be static, this is due to radio propagation. The propagation usually gets better after a few hours.
The setup consists of a Raspi A+ connected to an RTL-SDR and a MLA-30+ Loop antenna. The raspi sends the audio to another raspi running darkice which streams it to broadcastify.
