LCPD, DAFD, DASO, AMR, plus Mutual Aid Talkgroups VHF plus Las Cruces EDACS. Some agencies have switched to the DTRS which is provided in feed 43706


Feed is broadcast using a Uniden BCT15X (Left) on mono line out to a Dell mini desktop running ScannerCast, including serial control via a USB to Serial adaptor to the rear port on the left side for alpha tags. Internet provided by a 500/20 mbps cable connection with the computer connected via ethernet to an internet switch for low latency. Scanner is connected to a base NMO antenna mount with a high gain 800mhz NMO located on a 2nd floor interior wall, and all componants including the modem are on an UPS for redunancy.

A majority of the radio traffic on the feed is on LCPD Ch 1 talkgroup. (This is the busiest TG by far)

Updates

9-25 VHF DASO and County fire frequencies will remain until they move to DTRS. Some dispatch traffic in southern communities will be broadcast on the toneout frequency. Tac 8 is now primary fireground tac in most of the county. Tac 7 seems to be depreciated, Tac 9 is secondary

9-20 Right side scanner being moved to a new feed for DTRS. A replacement right side for major events is en route. NMSP Dist 4 Base channel enabled temporarily until DTRS feed is online

8-3 Right side audio taken offline for equipment replacement. VHF Simulcast of DASO and DACFD channels added to left side for now

8-1 Right side audio modified due to low volume.

7-31 LCFD Channels no longer on monitored system, Additional frequencies added to right side for redundancy

5-5 County tac 8 talkgroup added to both sides

4-4 One of the DASO channels locked out due to blank carrier being transmitted. Will monitor and see if that resolves.

3-1  County Fire Dispatch Patch (522) Added

2-26 431 locked out, bad audio and constant carrier.

2-11 356 which is an unknown talkgroup popped up today. It MAY be LCPD 4.  It MAY be removed depending on what its purpose is. This talkgroup was removed per TOS. 

1-25 530 locked out AGAIN. Still broadcasting random blank carrier. 536 added for DASO 3

1-14 Lockouts removed.  SPPD still has badly distorted audio on the unit side.

1-4 updated lockouts for channels with empty signals

12-20 DASO South 530  and Sunland Park PD 431 both locked out again. Both are transmitting blank carrier and no traffic.

12-14 Broke the alpha tags. Fixed the alpha tags. Made the alpha tags better.

12-13 Left/Right split in final configuration.  See notes.

12-12 SPPD and DASO South added back.

12-7 SPPD Locked out. Audio sounds like crap on all equipment I have

12-1 Blackout/brownout in city knocked feed offline. UPS kept computer up and running, but scanner didnt stay online when power switched back to mains. Updating computer drivers for audio while its offline. 

11-30 Locked out DASO South, only getting constant carrier sound, no voice.

11-24 Testing Right/Left audio split. Currently right channel is locked out. Use left channel only for all feed traffic.

11-21 Audio issue reported and resolved.

11-20 DASO north and south unlocked for testing

9-30 LCFD Tac 3 has been added. This talkgroup rarely has traffic, but has been used twice this year

9-27Alpha tags have been added to the feed. Currently it shows the channel name as shown on the scanner. Will be changing some names in the scanner to better reflect the channel.
