This stream is the Red River Valley Amateur (RRVARC) WB5RDD UHF (444.500) repeater.  This feed allows non-amateur radio operators the ability to monitor our operations, particularly during periods of dangerous weather or other events.  In the fall of 2022 there were two tornado events with serious injuries and property damage.  During events like those we go to an "activated weather net" posture and the repeater is used by trained storm spotters and chasers.  Using our repeater these persons provide real-time observations to the Lamar County Emergency Operations Center (EOC), hosted at a secure location at the Paris Texas Police Department headquarter.
