Weather Warnings:
When specific weather warnings—such as Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, Tornado Warnings, Flash Flood Warnings, Snow Squall Warnings, or Dust Storm Warnings—are issued for the broadcast area, WXJ37 will:
- Broadcast the warning immediately using EAS to ensure you're alerted as soon as possible.
- After the warning the station then follows with the Station ID.
- Repeat the warning message to provide full details, including affected areas, the nature of the threat, and any recommended actions and updates.
This cycle continues until the warning is lifted or expires, with all regular programming temporarily suspended to prioritize urgent weather information.
