The location is 27 blocks north of downtown on a commercial building with the antenna at 187 ft. covering all of Pinellas and surrounding counties. The repeater is active mornings and evenings with scheduled nets plus other activities throughout the day. The evening net at 6:30 PM Eastern time is a National Traffic System Net handling messages through ham radio and is on the air every evening, 365 days a year. The Pre-Net gathering begins at 6 PM. This repeater is operated and maintained by the St Petersburg Amateur Radio Club (SPARC).
