Franconia Virginia Area Railroad Scanner Feed
This feed uses a Kenwood TH-K20A handheld HAM radio attached to a TrainTenna Blade Indoor Antenna mounted as high as I could inside. I experimented with higher outdoor antennas, but could not get better reception, so I stayed with the indoor set up.
On the CSX RF&P Subdivision, it consistently receives the defect detectors at mileposts 95.8 and 106.4, and usually the defect detector at milepost 84.6.
