This feed monitors MEMS 1 (AWIN Talkgroup 7215), which is used to dispatch emergency ambulance calls in the primary Pulaski County service area. This feed utilizes two RTL-SDR USB dongles, Unitrunker scanning software, and DSDPlus fasttrack software to decode the P25 digital voice. It originates in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
MEMS now uses Medical Priority Dispatch determinants (codes) that are assigned to the call at the time that it is received and processed by the Emergency Medical Dispatchers at MEMS based on the information that the 911 caller or referring agency provides. Occasionally you'll hear remnants of the old signals used in the past, mainly:
- 17 - equipment or personal belongings
- 63 - cardiac arrest
- 64 - DOA
- 65 - inoxicated person
- 66 - coroner
- 67 - police
Response and Transport codes:
- Code 1 - Emergency - lights & sirens (unit should be there in 8 min or less.)
- Code 2 - Emergency - lights & sirens (unit should be there in 12 min or less.)
- Code 3 - Emergency - no lights or sirens (no response time limit.)
- Code 4 - Non emergent ALS transfer
- Code 5 - Non emergent BLS transfer
Most responses to the scenes of emergency calls are Code 1, and transports from the scene to the hospital are Code 3, unless otherwise specified. When a unit runs Code 1 (otherwise known as "running hot") to the hospital the patient is assessed by the crew to be in critical condition, and the crew member on the radio will usually designate if they are "Code Blue" or "NOT Code Blue".
ALS (Advanced Life Support) ambulances are staffed by a Paramedic and EMT, and have unit numbers from 1 to 40. Their main concern is response to emergency calls from 9-1-1 or other agencies.
BLS (Basic Life Support) ambulances are staffed by two EMTs, and have unit numbers in the 70s and 80s. Their main concern is transporting patients between facilities or from the hospital to home. BLS units may respond to emergencies that are designated with "Alpha" or "Bravo" determinants.

- Operations staff utilize the call sign "OSCAR"
- Vehicle Maintenance staff utilize the call sign "VICTOR"

- Station 1 - 1101 W. 8th St. Headquarters for metro units, and houses Administration, Dispatch, Training, and Vehicle Maintenance facilities.
