This is the Howe Springs Fire Rescue main P25 talkgroup broadcasting from HSFR Headquarters station PA system (XTL2500 / TOA 9000M2)

Howe Springs Fire Rescue covers approximately 155 square miles of Florence county in South Carolina. With a population of 20,000 citizens and an average of  over 1,000 calls per year; we respond to Medical, Wrecks, and all kinds of Fire and Technical Rescue calls.

We are a combination department with around 65 members on our roster and more becoming members every month! It is an exciting time here at Howe Springs and we are looking forward to what the future holds.

This channel is our main channel. It is used for being dispatched, responding, and communicating with dispatch while on a call. Once on scene of a large or involved incident, the Incident Commander has the option to switch to a "Command Channel". We also switch to a "Fire Ground Channel" for operations which is not repeated and can be used for less formal communication.
