This feed carries amateur radio traffic on the K-Link Repeater Network. During severe weather this system is used to relay information for Skywarn to the National Weather Service offices in Topeka, Wichita, Dodge City, Goodland, and Grand Island.
The feed audio is taken from the K-Link Allstar hub located in Manhattan, KS, and under normal conditions carries audio from the entire K-Link Network.
This is the primary feed for the following counties in Kansas:
- Barton, Clay, Cloud, Dickinson, Ellis, Ellsworth, Geary, Gove, Graham, Harvey, Jewell, Lane, Lincoln, Marion, Marshall, McPherson, Mitchell, Morris, Nemaha, Ness, Norton, Osborne, Ottawa, Pottawatomie, Reno, Republic, Rice, Riley, Rooks, Rush, Russell, Saline, Scott, Sedgwick, Sheridan, Sherman, Smith, Stafford, Thomas, Trego, Wabaunsee, Washington, and Wichita.
This is the primary feed for the following counties in Nebraska:
- Nemaha, Johnson, Pawnee, and Richardson counties in Nebraska
Under some conditions some repeaters/counties may be split off into a subnetwork and unable to be heard on this feed.
This feed is served from a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ running HamVoIP Allstar on Archlinux.
The feed and internet are on battery backup.
