CSX Subdivisions Information

The M&M Subdivision runs from Montgomery, Alabama south to Mobile, Alabama.  The CSX Montgomery Yard is part of the M&M Subdivision, as is the Prattville Branch to Prattville, Alabama and the International Paper Mill located in Prattville.  Mileposts on the M&M Subdivision begin with three zeroes "000".  Control points you may hear are North Vera (MP 000 485.1), South Vera (MP 000 487.1), Coosa Street (MP 000 488.1), Bell Street (MP 000 489.0), Terminal Road (intermediate signals - MP 000 490.42), Catoma (MP 000 492.7), North McGehees (MP 000 496.9) and South McGehees (MP 000 498.2).   The Rolling Hills defect detector is located at MP 000 500.6, and the Letohatchee defect detector is at MP 000 500.8.

The S&NA South Subdivision runs from Montgomery, Alabama north to MP 000 398.0 (south of Birmingham.  The S&NA South Subdivision begins at the north end of the S&N (Montgomery) Yard at North Vera (MP 000 485.0).  Mileposts on the S&NA South Subdivision begin with three zeroes, "000".  Control points you may hear are North Vera (MP 000 485.0), Prattville Junction (intermediate signals - MP 000 480.0), Coosada (intermediate signals - MP 000 479.2), South Elmore (MP 000 476.2), North Elmore (MP 000 475.0), Speigner (intermediate signals - MP 000 472.8), South Deatsville (MP 000 469.4) and North Deatsville (MP 000 467.1).  The Coosada defect detector is located at MP 000 479.0.

The Prattville Branch of the M&M Subdivision runs from Montgomery, Alabama to the International Paper Mill in Prattville.  Mileposts begin with "0DM", and the limits of the branch are from 0DM 179.0 (Selma Connection) to the end of the Wye at junction with the Autauga Northern Railroad (MP 0DM 170.8).  After the wye, the mileposts then reset back to 0DM 0.0 and the end of track is 0DM 2.8.

The A&WP Subdivision runs from Montgomery, Alabama (Coosa Street, MP XXB 175.5) to Atlanta, Georgia.  Chester Yard in Montgomery is part of A&WP Subdivision.  Mileposts begin with "XXB".  Control points you may hear are the northern Chester Yard Limits (MP XXB 171.8), Madison Park (intermediate signals), and South Mount Meigs (MP XXB 171.8).  

The Selma Subdivision runs from Montgomery (XXB 178.0) to the Sabic Innovative Plastics (formerly, GE Plastics) plant in Burkville (XXB 189.3).  The remainder of the Selma Subdivision to Western Junction has been leased to the Meridian & Bigbee Railroad.  The Meridian & Bigbee Railroad has trackage rights over the Selma Subdivision to Montgomery, where the M&B interchanges with CSX.  M&B trains using trackage rights will begin with a "Z" prefix.  Mileposts on the Selma Subdivision begin with "XXB".

The Dothan Subdivision runs from Montgomery, Alabama (MP AN 902.1) to Thomasville, Georgia.  Mileposts begin with "AN."  The Sprague defect detector is located at MP AN 885.3

The setup for this feed is a Kenwood TK-7180 radio and a 5/8 wave base antenna  The server is a Raspberry Pi 2 using an iMic with the Broadcastify image.
