Updated April 2021:

As of April 2021 the City of Macedonia Police & Fire joined Summit County's P25 digital radio system (Sagamore PD had been there for months prior).  Northfield Village PD also cut over at the same time.  This feed has been modified to include all of the legacy conventional 420mhz frequencies as well as the new digital talk groups and will remain in that fashion until all agencies are confirmed to have abandoned 420mhz.

NOTE: This feed queues every transmission and plays them in sequence so that if the FD transmits while the PD is talking, you'll hear the remainder of the PD transmission and then the FD transmission will start at the begining.  As a result, the feed will occasionally get behind a few seconds but you'll hear entire transmissions.

MAC Channels:
Mutual Aid Channels (MAC) are county-wide channels available to any PD/FD agency as needed for joint exercises.  In the event that Macedonia is involved in a MAC channel it may be added to the feed dynamically.

History:

As of the fall of 2015 Macedonia Police Dispatch, in addition to serving its own agencies, became the "regional" dispatch center for Northfield Village and Sagamore Hills Village police and fire.  Police service in Northfield Center Township remained with the Summit County Sheriff and their traffic is typically not included in this feed because their dispatch channel encompasses all SCSO districts on a single talk group.  As of the fall of 2016 Macedonia Fire Department became the Fire & EMS provider for Sagamore Hills and Northfield Center Township.  They operate out of two substations (Station 2: Sagamore Hills Park, Station 3: SR82 in Northfield Center).  Police services in Northfield Center will continue to be provided by the Summit County Sheriff.  Summit County Sheriff will no longer dispatch Fire/EMS.  To put this quasi-regional coverage into perspective Macedonia is responsible for the Green, Blue and Purple areas of the map below (see broadcastify website).
