The South Dakota Amateur radio Council maintains a statewide system of linked repeaters called SD Link. This audio feed originates from The Sioux Falls, South Dakota 444.825mHz repeater and is 24/7. On Wednesday nights there is a statewide net for all licensed amateurs who wish to check in using any of the repeaters in the state. The SD Link is also available for use in emergencies or disasters as a means of statewide comunication should traditional methods fail. The SD Link system is owned and operated by the South Dakota Amateur Radio Council, and maintained by its' members and volunteers.
