SMCo ARES Groups: ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Services)

This feed uses a Mac Mini runing Nicecast.

The scanner is a Uniden BCT15X.

The scanner location is in the hills of the city of San Mateo at about 500ft.

These ARES groups and their members provide their cities & County Sheriff's OES with valuable Amateur Radio Operators in times of emergencies. They also provide communications for special events as requested by the cities, county or event organizers as a public service.
