911 Dispatch services are provide by the Pitt County 911 center. The City of Greenville utilizes the State of North Carolina VIPER (Voice Interoperability Plan for Emergency Responders) 800MHz trunk network. Fire stations in the city are paged simulcast through UHF tone paging and on the 800MHz VIPER system.
