Wheeling Police and Fire Stereo Feed

This feed provides a stereo broadcast of the Police Department on the left channel and the Fire Department on the right channel. You can adjust your sound card balancer to the left to listen to just PD traffic or move it to the right for FD traffic. When it's in the middle, you'll hear both departments simultaneously.

Tones - Radio Tests and Messages

• Dispatch Tone #1: Announcements or  Service/Medical Calls - 8 Beeps of the same frequency
• Dispatch Tone #2: Structure Fire - 14 beeps with an alternating High/Low frequency

Schedule

• 0800: Start of Shift and any possible announcements
• 0830: Radio testing of apparatus as well as any other(s) who needs to test portables, base, etc
• 1300: Dispatch Test saying "Testing 1.....2.....3"
• 1700: Dispatch Test and end of shift for the non-24-hour personnel
• 2200: Evening base radio check for each station
