LAFD Fire and EMS Dispatch - North Division.

This feed will include channel 8 of the Los Angeles Fire Department(LAFD)only.

North Division dispatch generally covers the entire San Fernando Valley.  However, the channel is conventional analog simulcast throughout the City of Los Angeles on 858.4375 MHz.

Equipment:

Harris, Scan Radio, D28MCX Receiver.

Barix Instreamer.

The equipment is rack mounted, external roof mounted antenna, UPS, housed in a climate controlled server room located in downtown Los Angeles.
