Located in Wakefield, this feed uses a PRO-197 scanner to monitor the Bessemer South tower site of MPSCS. A Raspberry Pi is used for streaming the audio to Broadcastify.
This feed monitors the 800Mhz trunked radio system known as MPSCS. You will hear communications from the Gogebic County Sheriff, Ironwood PD, Marenisco PD, Tribal PD, EMS agencies, Fire Departments and Gogebic County Road Commission. Audio is also mixed in from 155.415 and 155.610 which includes fire and some EMS paging. The feed uses 3 receivers at once so you may hear multiple transmissions at the same time but due to low activity on vhf this shouldn't happen that often. Some fire and ems agencies are switching over to 800mhz paging, as I find the talkgroups I will add them to the feed.
